Tyseley Warwick Road Platform

This is a private platform used as the departure point for several Vintage Trains excursions. It is accessed from the Tyseley Locomotive Works site car park.

By Train

There are frequent local trains to Tyseley station from Birmingham Snow Hill, Birmingham Moor Street, Shirley, Solihull, Leamington, Stratford, Stourbridge, Worcester and other stations on the "Snow Hill Lines services" operated by London Midland and Chiltern Railways.

Please allow 10 minutes for the walk to the Tyseley Locomotive Works site from Tyseley station.

By Bus

There is a frequent bus service (WM Travel No. 37) along the Warwick Road from/to Birmingham City Centre (Corporation Street) and Solihull. Alight at the Warwick Road/Tyseley Hill Road stop.

By Road

If travelling via the Motorway system an easy route is to leave the M42 at junction 5 and follow the A41 towards Birmingham (follow signs to Birmingham Railway Museum or Tyseley Locomotive Works). Ample free parking is available.
