AC Electric 86259 'Les Ross' completed its main line test run successfully
on
8th February and is now a main line registered locomotive.
It successfully headed is first mainline excursion under its new ownership on Sat 1st March -
'Les Ross's Daytripper'

Within a matter of weeks of each other the boilers of Castles 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe & 5029 Nunney Castle have been successfully steam tested and then refitted to their frames.
Both locomotives are to return to the mainline on Vintage Trains Excursions in 2008.
