Itinerary

As demand is expected to be high for our historic GWR175th 'BRISTOLIAN' non-stop steam hauled workings between Paddington and Bristol, Vintage Trains and First Great Western are extending the opportunity for everyone to participate in the weekend’s anniversary commemorations by providing the chance to join both the outward and return steam hauled coaching stock positioning moves between the West Midlands and the London area, steam hauled one-way by GWR Castle Class Loco - 5043 ‘Earl of Mount Edgcumbe’

Whilst these are one-way only steam hauled trains on the days preceding and following the April 17th 'BRISTOLIAN', they are complemented and made all the more accessible by outward or return travel on scheduled timetabled services, tickets for which are available for an additional 'advantageous' fare through Vintage Trains. Please ask for more details at the time of booking.
